The Keeping Memories Alive (KMA) Foundation has been awarded $42,000 by the Jefferson Memorial Community Foundation to help offer a safe driving awareness program in 11 public high schools in Jefferson County as well as at Jefferson Community College.

Hillsboro Road Improvement Initiative
One Curve At A Time has been assisting the Hillsboro Road Improvement Initiative. The Hillsboro Road Improvement Initiative (HRII) is a group of residents with a goal to ensure improvments are made to Hillsboro Road, a dangerous road characterized by winding curves, narrow lanes, a steep hill with drop off, lack of shoulders & guard rails, and deteriorating surfaces. Hillsboro Road is the only route in or out of several residential neighborhoods and traveled upon for school transportation by 7 buses twice a day . 2014 Arrive Alive Award
For its positive efforts, One Curve At A Time, and its founder, Shawn Archambault, received the 2014 Statewide Arrive Alive Award presented by the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety. The Coalition is a large group of public and private entities working together to increase safety on Missouri roadways and includes law enforcement, educators, emergency responders and engineers. Founded in 2004, the Coalition created Missouri's Blueprint for Safer Roadways. The Blueprint is a guide to reach the goal of 700 or less traffic fatalities by 2016. From 2005-2012, combined efforts have resulted in a decrease of traffic fatalities by 35 percent. In honoring One Curve at a Time, Leanna Depue, Chair of the Coalition's Executive Committee, said, "Through the efforts of Shawn Archambault and the many others in his organization, they have exhibited insight and leadership in creating awareness of the need to improve highway safety in our state.

Students at St. Clair High School make a commitment to drive safely by signing the OCAAT safe driving pledge banner. OneCurveAtATime and the St. Clair High School Key Club promote safe driving by educating students about driving hazards and encouraging them to sign the OCAAT safe driving pledge banner.
